What is the floor between the storeys?

Above the level of the first floor, a structure is made where the main beams are most often
200 mm high. The height is determined separately for each project in order to achieve sufficient rigidity of the floor structure and avoid vibration during operation.

The space between the structural elements is filled with sound-proofed material. Air gaps for the sound insulation are provided and sound insulation strips are put in all typical places. This allows to observe the requirements of Ordinance № 4 of 27 December 2006 on reduction of harmful noise.

Hydrophobic and multilayered plywood is laid on the supporting structure and dry floor coating is applied directly on it. The wet premises on the second floor are performed in accordance with special company details.

A standard suspended ceiling is made below the level of the main bearing structure according to the drywall system of construction. This allows for further increase of the space filled with sound insulation material.
